SHOES SHOES SHOES

Shoes… man I love shoes. I honestly thing that most brides do. I have had a few brides email me saying that they bought their shoes because they knew I would have fun with them I have to say that I love when people step out of the box a little and wear shoes with some spunk! I know traditionally The bride used to white or off white. But these days I see more shoes that are colorful and sparkly. I fully support the colorful shoe trend.

When I broke the news to my mom that I was wearing yellow shoes to match my lemon themed wedding she was a bit confused. Honestly she just didn’t get it, and I dont think she will ever really like the idea. I like throwing the norm out the window. Esp. when it comes to my wedding. To each their own but I figured I would share a few of my favorite shoes from this season.

DRUM ROLL…

LOVE the bow, and you cant go wrong with a pink sole!

What girl doesn’t love hot pink?

What’s a girl to do when shes tall? Wear an awesome pair of flat dress sandals.

I love little pom pom’s

I believed the bride referred to these as drag Dorthy

Deep purple was popular this year. Add some jewls and you have yourself an awesome shoe!

RED… Nothing speaks like the color red

Must I say more?

Again… these shoes do not need an introduction

What is your wedding shoe?

T minus 220 days!

Someone once told me that it was tacky to post personal stuff on my blog, but if they don’t like it they don’t have to read it. And if by being excited about my wedding means that I am tacky then so be it. Besides I don’t have much to blog about these days with wedding season being over.  I honestly feel like the pressure is starting to kick in. Up until this point I haven’t been stressed at all. But now the hotel rooms need to be blocked, venue meetings need to be scheduled, rehearsal dinners need to be planned, honeymoon needs to get booked and the invite list has to be finalized. So yeah things are starting to heat up a little. I have to say that my 2012 brides are amazing. I swear that we have such a crazy awesome bond because we are going through this together. I finally can relate to my clients because I know what they are feeling and what they are going through. We also share the huge excitement that awaits us.  Seriously 220 days is going to fly by. I don’t want to wish them away because the excitement that I feel is so amazing, but at the same time I wish it were tomorrow.

In 220 days I will be marrying the person that makes me laugh harder than anyone else can. That’s how I know he is my best friend! Corny right?? I feel super lame for even saying that but its true.

Julie & Bill: Topsfield Common Wedding

Hi Everyone! Its been way too long, but it is that time of year where the blogging starts to slow down a tad because shooting starts to get less and less. But I promise to try to blog random stuff to keep you all entertained. I literally am sitting at my desk still in my pajamas with Bella laying on the side of me and on the other side of me is a thing of M&M’s. Sweet life right? When I edit I have a horrible habit of snacking on the worst possible things ever. I put candy in Eric’s stocking and am eating it all! Anyway I hope you all have something amazing planned for the new year. We are headed up to ME tomorrow morning and I couldn’t be more excited. There might not be any snow but we will still have a blast. I cant wait.

Remember Julie and Bill? These two are two of my favorite people in the world. I think that I can honestly say that they are the nicest/sweetest people ever. AND Julies enthusiasm level is close to mine, which is a feat in itself. Bill is just one of those people that is very comforting. I dont know what it is about him but he is just so comforting to me. Julies wedding was bitter sweet for me. It was my last wedding of the season so I knew that rest was in my future but at the same time I get sad when the season ends. I did get to end it on a bang with them.I have to give a huge shout out to Courtney for being literally the best bridesmaid I have ever got to work with. She was super woman. NO JOKE. Julie is very lucky to have a friend like her around. Here are a few of my favorites that Emily, my second shooter and I got!

Her new SIL’s (sister-in-laws)

Heather & James: Veronique Wedding

OK I am very disappointed in myself for how long this has taken me to get done. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Things really got slammed for me during September and October. Heather and James were my last October wedding so they got the brunt of it. BUT I am finally able to say I have got their blog ready and their gallery should be up tonight! Thank goodness! My good pal Rachel is friends with Heather and the girls, but because she is super popular she was booked the day of Heather and James wedding. So, I had the pleasure of working with them. These two are the most laid back couple I have ever worked with. They are so sweet and really just cared about being with each other all night (LOVE). I think at one point they even went for a walk together. I really love that about them.

OK Im not going to keep them waiting anymore. Here are some of my favorite images that Samantha, my second shooter, and I got!

can you tell I loved her shoes?

Her father when he first saw her

This was the trickiest church EVER. You couldn’t stand in the middle isle and you couldn’t stand in front of the guests. So I sat with the bridesmaids for most of the time.

Love these next two

Sam snagged this

So pretty

Time to dance
