I need to vent for a second. Have you ever had a day where you swear you were being punked? Remember that show? I 100% had one of those days today. From beginning to end I just couldn’t get out of my funk. My facebook post today at 7:30AM was “I am ready for bed and it is only 7:30AM” And here I am up posting at 11:45PM. I met with a bride and groom tonight (who I loooove). They live about 8 miles from me and it took me an hour to get there… AN HOUR. I swear my GPS has a camera that films me and somewhere there are people watching me, and they are laughing their butts off watching me follow their most ridiculous route EVER to get to a very simple place. I mean I bet I could have stayed on one road and gotten to this place, but instead I was taking turn after turn getting on random highways and over passes. On the way home I kept telling myself that it would be much faster because it wasn’t rush hour. WRONG. There was a concert at the Hatch Shell in Boston so the three way Storrow Drive was shut down to two because one of the lanes was for parking. Really? Once I got onto Rt. 9 I hit EVERY SINGLE light possible. I didn’t miss one. NO JOKE. So my drive home was just a bit over an hour. But, to end the night on a very nice note, Eric had made me a very nice dinner and it was ready for me as soon as I got back. AND… I got to finish editing this amazing couple!!
Lisa and Pete. I didn’t get to meet them before they booked me so it was them 100% believing in me, which I greatly appreciate. I was so pumped to meet with them to do their pictures that I could barely stand it. I knew that Lisa was so excited, but she warned me that Pete was not sharing the same enthusiasm. Eric came along for the shoot and when we met up Pete asked if we could grab a drink (or two) before we started. While we sat at Cheers Pete told us how he REALLY didn’t want to do this. AT ALL. He was dead serious. He offered going to a fun dinner instead, or maybe just staying at Cheers and drinking. BUT, Lisa finally convinced him to go out for a few and to do his best. I felt so bad. He had all of these things that he didn’t want to do. He said that all he wanted was one picture and he would be happy. I’m not joking when I say we took tons of breaks, but I loved it because Eric and I got to really know them. Most of the time we ended up just talking and I started to get a feel for when Pete was comfortable and I would guide him a bit snap two pictures and move on. It was extremely different from any shoot that I have done. I have to say that I really liked it. So Pete, thanks for being so awesome and letting us take at least a few photos. I love a good challenge and you gave me one (in a good way). Lisa, you are one of the sweetest people ever and you are just STUNNING. I hope I get to see you guys before the wedding. I hate that you are in NYC!!!!
One last thing. Lisa’s ring. A-MAZING. TO DIE FOR. INCREDIBLE. Its my dream ring so I am a bit bias. Just thought I would throw that in there.

This was funny. So Pete is a baseball coach at Columbia University (sweet job I know). In high school AND in college 26 was his number. So, obviously its his favorite number.

One of Erics

The next two are also Erics, and I have to say that I love them

I asked them what some things were that they liked to do, and they said that they loved to dance while they cooked dinner together

SOOO GORGEOUS Lisa

this is a possible favorite

E pulling through again with a great shot

This is another possible favoriteb(check out the ring)

And this is the last one. I snagged it on one of our breaks!!

Thank you both SO much for making the trip to Boston!!! I hope you like at least one![]()
