New Year, New Blog, New Me

First off… welcome to my new blog! I am beyond excited about this step for my photography. I feel that it will better display all of my hard work that I put into each and every shoot. I ran into an issue when importing the images from my old blog. The sizing is too big, and there really isnt anything I can do about it. Going forward it wont be an issue! Bob, as always, thanks so much for all the help!

OK… the other night I had the pleasure of going to a photography workshop with a few friends and classmates. It was put on by the talented Justin and Mary Marantz. The only way that I can really explain it is UNREAL. When I left I felt as though I had just sat through a five hour therapy session and it had cleansed my soul. I laughed, I cried, and most importantly I learned a ton about myself, and who I want to be as a person and as a photographer. This year is the year of goals for me. I’m going to write them all down put them somewhere where I can see them and check them off one by one. I made two separate goal lists.

  1. Personal: Justin and Mary asked us two questions throughout the night “what is the life you love”, and “how would you want to be remembered”. It left me thinking long and hard. It’s really not that easy. I finally jotted something down and formed goals that would help form the life I love, and would help me be the person I want to be remembered as.
  2. Career: I asked myself where I wanted my business to be within the next year. For me this was hard because in all honesty I want it all NOW. I don’t want to wait 4 months, or 6 months, I want it all TODAY. News flash… not possible. Huh… maybe that should be something to work on this year.

Anyways, I hope that this year you notice a lot of growth with my photography and my little business. For all of you that are going to be following me on my journey to achieve my goals THANKS, and I promise you that this year will be packed with fabulous photos. The weddings that I have booked are all going to be spectacular. I couldn’t have asked for better clients. I’m not just saying that. They are AWESOME.

On to David! David is a pretty awesome/smart guy. He owns Cohne Investment Group, which deals with portfoio management consulting and investment research (I copied this from his site because just talking to him about it made my head spin).  It takes one smart cookie to start that type of company. He needed some photos for his site, and for a magazine that he is going to be featured in. HOW COOL!!! Best of luck to you David!!

THE END!
