Just Breathe

I’m sitting at my desk listening to “Just Breathe” by Pearl Jam on repeat. I have a really bad habit of finding a song that I am obsessed with and just listening to it over and over and over and over until I can’t take it anymore. Eric finally made me let him pick a song and he chose “Bad Romance” by Lady Gaga. Talk about over played, but who is calling the kettle black? Anyway I let him play it and before I knew it he was dancing all around me. Not just tapping his toes, but legit dancing. Like hip thrusts and flailing arms all around our “office”. Honestly he makes me laugh harder than anyone can.

I have been so bad at blogging, and I am disappointed because that was on my 2010 goal list. I think everything else is going okay. Buy 70-200mm lens, check… buy backup camera, check… New blog, check. I think that is pretty good considering its only February. Things are looking pretty good for 2010.

I have been like a little kid on Christmas Eve lately with such excitement for the next few months! Remember that feeling? Going to bed early just so Christmas morning would come faster, and yet time seemed to be on hold? Well that is how my February has been. March 6^th I head to Vegas with my friends to go to the WPPI convention and I couldn’t be more excited. Tons of the top photographers in the country go and many of them speak. There are classes and all sorts of vendors at the tradeshow. Plus I have never been to Vegas so that in its self is exciting! I keep watching “Hangover” and “Ocean’s Eleven” to prep myself. Probably not the two most realistic movies ever, but come on you get my point.  Hopefully I don’t end up with a Lion in my room, and I am pretty sure I am not going to rob Terry Benedict.

Anyway I just wanted to fill everyone in and let them know that my first wedding is in April and things progress from then on. Tons of blogging my friends I promise. I leave you with two pictures that I took this fall in Boston. I love how they are so nostalgic so I figured I would post them. Besides what’s a blog post without a picture or two?
