BRRR I literally cant deal with this cold weather. AT ALL. I literally don’t have enough layers to possibly keep me warm. Tonight Eric’s company is having their yearly holiday party and the thought about having to go outside in a dress with open toed shoes makes me want to cry. Why aren’t sweat pants appropriate attire for holiday parties in the city?
The day of Dana and Chris’s wedding it was freezing. And the wind at Gibbet Hill is intense. Every time I go there it is so windy. I have come to the conclusion that they are in their own little wind tunnel. When I got to Dana’s we chatted about their first look and she gave us the OK to do it outside which I obviously loved because I much prefer outdoor photos if it is possible. Especially when you are shooting at a place as great as Gibbet. When I got there and met up with Melissa DeSchamp, my second shooter we both looked at each other like “oh man is this for real”. COLD/WINDY to an extreme. So we put a ten minute limit on the outdoor photos before moving inside. No matter what the temperature was the day was beautiful and we had such a great time. I hope you two had an amazing honeymoon!!
Love the jewels
Dana was one of the calmest brides ever. Just hanging around with the girls enjoying the day, but looking SO amazing even in her sweats
Dana’s mother and sister got a little lost that morning so we had to get Dana dressed before they arrived. I love their reactions when they first saw her!
LOVE this one. The girls were helping hide Meghan’s ribbon and it got a little up close and personal.
off we go
Chris looking dapper
As soon as we started shooting there was a break in the clouds and the sun came shining through, which helped keep us a little warm
these two are so cute
this could be a favorite from the day.
The light was honestly amazing. It was right before sunset and the dark clouds in the background really contrasts with the bright colors
work it Dana
the wedding party
ten minutes was up and inside we went. The guys went to the bar to hide out while the guests arrived and got to enjoy a beverage before the ceremony.
time to get married
first dance as Mr. & Mrs.
time to party
I loved these two ladies but to be honest I have no idea what their hands were doing. I think they might have had the same name and they were trying to make their fingers into the shape of their last name??
there was definitely some pole dancing involved.
and some sandwiches were being made. I don’t think these four left the dance floor once.
