Linsdey + Dan | Sky Meadow Wedding

I am so excited to share this wedding with everyone. It was such an amazing wedding and I feel like Lindsey and Dan could teach a lot of couples about the meaning of a wedding. The day started out SUPER sunny. The further into the day we got the more clouds started come out. After the ceremony we were driving to the photo location and the skies opened up.  I started to get a bit nervous because I wasn’t sure how Lindsey was going to take the bad news that the weather took a turn for the worse. We turn down a DIRT road to our destination and 007 (the limo driver) jumps out and says “well this is going to be fun/different shes not letting the rain stop her we are still doing photos outside”. Derek, my second shooter, Amber, my intern, and I throw on jackets and grab umbrellas and head for the fields. Literally we had the best time. It was like dancing in the rain. Lindsey and Dan were SO happy that they were married that they didn’t even care a single bit about the weather. They laughed, they smiled, they kissed and they jumped up and down with excitement that they were married. It had NOTHING to do with the weather. They didn’t even notice the huge drops coming down. These two knew it was about the purpose of the day. To get married. It had nothing to do with the weather. They were not going to let rain change their attitudes towards the day. After a little while the wedding party came running out of the limo to join in the fun. Even 007 was having a blast. There was so much love in that field that the rain seemed to disappear.
